Will our festival schedule work, even when phone reception is poor?
Of course! Once the app is installed, all of the data for your event is stored on the device. A connection is needed for the first download and for new updates to arrive - but even on a poor connection we can still get updates to attendees.
What if our lineup changes on an event day?
Your team can easily update schedules and other information through VIKIN. Make your change, and when you're ready our platform will distribute content updates to your audience. You can also use notifications to communicate important changes directly to attendees.
Can attendees plan their ideal festival schedule?
Yes - attendees love it! They can add sessions, activities, talks and more to their personalised schedule, compare and resolve clashes, and receive reminders that are personalised just for them.
Can the app include our vendors, traders, and sponsors?
Yes. Our interactive maps and detailed profiles cover stages, facilities, food and drink, traders, sponsors and other useful places around the site. We also let you prioritise vendors by time of day, tiers, and other options, turning the app into a helpful tool instead of just a list of information.
We don't want to re-add our data to a new tool - can VIKIN import our existing festival data?
Yes. We don't want you to duplicate your data. We have an official integration with Crescat for seamless syncing, we can import structured spreadsheets, or build a new integration if you're using a tool we don't currently support.
Is on-site support available?
Yes. When you join VIKIN, we'll agree an on-site support model with you - based on the needs of your festival.
Do I share the app with other festival?
Your app is for your festival only - no need to share! Attendees will find the app for your event on the app store, and when they download it the app will be branded specifically to your event.
